Bucharest, Romania, July 5, 2008—Spectators enjoy fireworks in a grassy meadow, marking the first Golden Nights International Pyrotechnic Festival in Romania's capital.

After three consecutive nights of elaborate pyrotechnic shows synchronized to music and supplemented by artistic performances, a team from Italy won the competition, according to the festival's official Web site.
